Brand vision

Over 60 years ago a dedicated young man, working in the Australian meat industry, had a vision to establish his very own beef processing company; a company that would rival all others in beef quality. Today, the legend of J.R. McDonald, and his vision of beef processing excellence, still guides the company he calls, Bindaree Beef. His company and his family continue to honour that original promise of quality without compromise.

It was over 25 years ago sitting under an iconic fig trees on the McDonald family farm that they were inspired to hand select a premium range of Australian black Angus beef. Their vision was to deliver Australians, and the world, with an artisan product built of quality, tenderness and above all, taste. Bindaree Beef is one of Australia’s largest meat processors, and a prominent leader in the Australian meat industry.

BINDAREE VINTAGE

Bindaree Vintage sets the standard for dry aged beef with exceptionally enhanced flavour and tenderness. This comes from the cattle being raised on lush pastures and finished on premium quality grains. The beef is then dried and dehydrated in a controlled environment – the ideal condition for creating the perfect flavour, tenderness and juiciness of dry aged beef.

Fernhill Road Beef was developed with one simple idea in mind: provide a superior beef product to satisfy our family and yours. Upon this vision, The McDonald Family developed the product line, Fernhill Road Beef. This is a restaurant and family grade, premium Grassfed beef to satisfy even the most discriminating palate in the family, getting a gold standard for consistently tender and delicious beef.

JR MC DONALD

The cattle that make up “The Chairman” are hand selected by only two family members that know what JR wants, legend has it, they are that selective, they have never ever got it wrong! “The Chairman” product is only from our best 150-day grain fed pure British bred MSA graded cattle. JR McDonald – “The Chairman” has been a well-kept secret for many many years. This is the first time the product has been made available outside the family company, and it is now only available in limited exclusive amounts.
