The Brief

Nigel and Melanie from SparkShark came to us looking for a product packaging design for a super cool product: A  collapsible kindling and log splitter to chop fire wood to take with you when you go camping.

 

"The Super Spark Kindling and Log Splitter was created on a very cold winters night in Tallebudgera Valley on the Gold Coast. I was sitting with my family around the fire pit, My dad was next to us splitting large firewood with an axe. I sat and watched while the wood chips flew everywhere. I would cringe and hope that the firewood, or axe, wouldn’t slip, and I knew there was a safer and easier way. The very next day when I went to work, I conjured up the Super Spark Firewood Splitter. With the help of my partner, Melanie, we brought this new creation to life."

WHAT WE CREATED

These guys had a very clear and organized brief fot their product packaging design, with some sketches done by themselves. We created a strong and modern packaging design with beautiful images from the area and customized illustrations to explain the features of the product.
